What we do ourselves, and what our partners do

A mill guide is a multi-stage product. We keep the drawings, the process requirements and the inspection in our own hands, allocate the stages to the capability that does them best, and stay accountable for the delivered part.

Manufacturing capability

Capability, and who does what

The machining of guides is carried out in our workshops. Casting and forging of blanks, and specialised processes such as heat treatment, are performed by long-standing partner workshops to our drawings and process requirements, inside our inspection and documentation system. Lead time and quality remain our responsibility to you.

Process route

The route a guide takes

01

Melt & forge the blank

Cast and forged blanks produced to the material specification agreed for the part.

02

Machine

CNC turning, milling and grinding, with critical faces machined to the drawing.

03

Heat treat to specification

Hardening and tempering to the process requirement for that part.

04

Inspect

Dimensional verification, hardness testing, marking of every part.

Service department

More than supply — the service department

A dedicated service team of mill-guide engineers supports every order beyond the part itself: technical modification, pass design and contracted production operation for your line.

Technical modification service

Technical modification service

Focused on mill-guide technology with more than 50 national patents. Dynamic balancers, coordinate measuring machines and other advanced equipment back full-line guide design and water-cooling system design, so an upgrade is engineered rather than improvised.

Seven steps in three phases — from requirement to after-sales

One flow, agreed stage by stage: what you send, what we do, and what you receive.

Stage 1 · Enquiry

Requirements & quotation

  1. 01Requirement proposal — you send the requirement.
  2. 02Detailed assessment — drawings and operating conditions checked.
  3. 03Quotation — price, lead time and MOQ issued.
Stage 2 · Engineering

Design & production

  1. 04Production agreement — built to your drawing, or measured on site.
  2. 05Quality inspection — inspected to the approved drawing; third-party inspection welcome.
Stage 3 · Delivery

Delivery & after-sales

  1. 06Payment and delivery — despatched once confirmed.
  2. 07After-sales support — remote technical support, or our team on site.
