Governance, people and the environment
Compliance, responsibility and durability are not a separate programme here — they are what the factory does every day: traceable material, records you can ask for, safe work, controlled waste and plain dealing.
How we govern the work
Governance, for a factory like ours, means that every claim about a part can be traced back to a document.
Quality system
We run an ISO 9001 quality management system. Documents, drawings and inspection records are kept, not reconstructed after a complaint.
Nothing starts on a verbal drawing
Manufacturing begins only after the drawing and any change are confirmed in writing — material, hardness, tolerance, mounting dimensions.
Traceable to the batch
Each part carries an identity mark; inspection records and material certificates stay with the batch, so a question about one part can be answered from the file.
Quotes without fog
Price, MOQ, lead time and trade terms are stated in the quotation. If something is uncertain, we say so instead of promising around it.
Your drawings stay yours
Customer drawings and technical data are treated as confidential and are not reused for anyone else. We sign an NDA when asked.
What the workshops do
Steel and machining are heavy trades. We hold ourselves to keeping the waste side of it as controlled as the production side.
Metal returns to the melt
Offcuts, chips and rejects are sorted and returned to the furnace rather than scrapped as mixed waste.
Coolants and oils are collected
Cutting fluid and waste oil are collected and handed to licensed disposal, not dumped with general refuse.
No pointless rework
Rework burns energy and material twice. Process control at the machine is the cheapest environmental measure we have.
Less at the customer end
A guide that lasts longer means fewer replacements, less freight and less steel consumed per ton rolled — which is why material and hardness are matched to the working conditions.
Responsibility to the people in the building
The people who make the part are the reason it is right, so how they are treated is part of the quality argument.
Hired on ability, not background
Equal opportunity and respect for difference; no discrimination in hiring, pay or promotion.
Safety before schedule
Machine guarding, operating procedures and protective equipment are conditions of the job, not optional extras — including when a delivery is urgent.
Skills that outlast us
Experienced machinists and heat-treatment hands train apprentices; the standard is documented so it does not walk out of the door.
Fair dealing, both ways
The same terms we ask from our suppliers we owe to our customers. If a part is wrong, fixing the customer’s line comes before arguing about who pays.
Ask us for the paperwork
A values page is worth only what can be checked behind it. These are available on request — no sales meeting required.
An inspection record sample
The actual format you would receive with a shipment, so you can see what is measured and what is signed.
Our material certificate format
What arrives with the steel, and how the heat number travels with the part.
A quality system summary
How ISO 9001 is actually applied here: which records exist, who signs them, how long they are kept.
